Malachy Mitchell is one of the managing directors of OTUS Immobilienmanagement GmbH and also the managing director of Farrelly & Mitchell – a Dublin based international consultancy and investment firm. He is also Chairman of Green Oak Holdings, a US property investment company and Director of a number of property investment and development companies in the UK and Germany, all of which are managed by Farrelly and Mitchell.

Malachy has extensive corporate funding and structuring experience, from leading roles in projects in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and international markets. These include a number of major take-private deals and LBOs within the property and property development sectors as well as in the agri-business and food sector. His previous business and management experience also includes senior executive positions with the Irish Farmers Association and a number of major Irish and international food companies such as the Carton Group Ltd and the Kerry Group plc.

Malachy holds a B.B.S. (Hons), MMII Grad., MSc. Operations Management (Hons).

Stephan Pristaff is Managing Director of OTUS Immobilienmanagement GmbH and the OTUS Consulting GmbH. He has extensive experience in the international commercial property market.

After his real estate studies at the HTW Berlin Stephan Pristaff was working as a consultant at BNPParibas Real Estate (formerly Atisreal) in the “Industrial Services” division until 2006. Subsequently, he was responsible for the development and management of the Rostock office of Engel & Völkers Commercial focusing on business transaction with international and especially Scandinavian investors. The transaction volume of around € 100 million consisted of residential portfolios and larger retail properties. Then Stephan Pristaff worked as an Associate Director at DTZ Zadelhoff before he founded the IGP Immobilienmanagement GmbH together with Bernd Thiele.

In 2009 Stephan Pristaff was granted Chartered Surveyor and became a member of the RICS.

Bernd Thiele is partner of OTUS Immobilienmanagement GmbH and also the Managing Director of OTUS Consulting GmbH. He has extensive experience in various areas of the real estate industry and has sustained business relationships with banks, investors and service providers.

As managing director of Cara Grundbesitzgesellschaft GmbH Bernd Thiele was responsible for the acquisition, the management and the overall optimisation of the company’s real estate portfolio. Then he joined the investment team of BNP Paribas Real Estate GmbH. His focus was the development of the residential department as well as the expansion of the commercial transaction business with portfolios. After 5 years he joined DTZ as Head of Acquisition with power of attorney. In 2009 Bernd Thiele founded together with Stephan Pristaff IGP Immobilienmanagement GmbH.

Bernd Thiele studied business administration and graduated with a diploma.

Philip is partner of OTUS Immobilienmanagement and the Chairman of Farrelly & Mitchell. Philip was also a subcommittee member of the Enterprise Strategy Review Group on the competitiveness of the Irish economy. He is a regular media spokesperson on taxation and investment issues.

Philip’s clients include National Roads Authority, ESB (Irish electricity provider), Bord Gais, Irish Rail, Environmental Protection Agency and the Irish Farmers Association.

Philip is a Qualified Financial Adviser and holds a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin

Marco is partner and Head of Asset Management at OTUS Immobilienmanagement. He has extensive experience in German commercial property investment and management. He oversees all aspects of property and asset management for private clients, syndicated property funds and corporate managed by the company.

Previously Marco has worked as a Senior Consultant (Property Management) for Farrelly & Mitchell based in Dublin where he managed the Company’s US, German and UK commercial property and development portfolio. He has also extensive experience working as a fund manager based in Munich; overseeing a number of German closed-end commercial property funds.

Marco is a qualified graduate economist and has an MBA specialising in Real Estate Management and Finance.

Since March 2010 Volker Gladis works as Asset Manager at OTUS Immobilienmanagement GmbH. He studied business administration with focus on real estate economics at the HTW Berlin. Besides his studies he gained practical experience in various areas of real estate. Among other things he worked at DTZ Germany GmbH in the department Acquisition Germany and IGP Ingenieur AG.

During his studies Volker gained extensive knowledge in the area of distressed assets. In collaboration with a former fellow student he published the book “Distressed Investments – Acquisition, Restructuring and Selling of non-performing Assets“ (Logos Verlag).

Kristin Buder learned the profession of management assistant in real estate between 2003 and 2006. Ongoing she started the Bachelor program in Real Estate Management at the HTW Berlin and graduated in March 2010. During her studies Kristin Buder gained experience in the area Asset- and Property Management in a six month internship at the Urbanis GmbH.

Since May 2010 she is working as a property manager and is responsible for the management of portfolios of national and international investors.

In October 2010 she started the international Master program Construction and Real Estate Management at the HTW Berlin.
